Free Play Time

The children have a choice of age-appropriate activities and toys.

Circle Time

We read stories, perform plays, sing songs, play or listen to music, have puppet shows, do stories on the flannel board and participate in seasonal activities.

Nap Time

Washington State law requires children under five (5) years old have a rest time provided. We require that this time period be uninterrupted to ensure quiet time for all children in our care.

Screen Time

Periodically, we watch educational programming (PBS) or watch DVDs of special interest to children. We also will play music videos or videos with content of interest to children (animals, learning activities; etc.) on the computer. We limit screen time to 30 minutes or under. We prefer to play, read, listen to music, dance or do projects.
